ACCOUNT OPENING
Conveniently, a private person or a company may open an account
with us. In this way, you may not have to enter your information
each time.
DEFINITIONS
AIRPORT TRANSFER
Transfer to or from a commercial airport or FBO (handling agent
generally located at a private airport) to a predefined
location.
CITY TRANSFER
Transfer within a main city, where Edward Limousines or any of
its affiliates or subsidiaries has a base.
STATION TRANSFER
Transfer from and to a station, which is generally located
within a major city, to another location, within that same city.
POINT-TO-POINT (or A to B) TRANSFER
The charge for a predefined transfer in between two different
locations, separate and aside from airport transfers, as defined
above
HOURLY CHARGE
The charge for "As-Directed" service within a main city where
Edward Limousines or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries has a
base, when there is an pre-planned itinerary, which generally
involves multiple stops, known to the passenger(s) and indicated
to the driver, or when the chauffeur takes instructions directly
from the passenger(s).
EXTRA MILEAGE CHARGE
The hourly rate generally includes a certain amount of miles or
kilometers per hour. Beyond, a per mile or per kilometer charge
will be added, according to the type of vehicle used.
ROADSHOW
A set-up itinerary generally communicated in advance for a
maximum efficiency, where the passengers will attend different
appointments according to a planned schedule.
BASE RATE
The rate charged for basic transportation services before any
Gratuity, STC, Fuel Surcharge, Airport Fee, International
Arrival Fee, Parking & Tolls, Incidental Charges and Tax is
added.
SURFACE TRANSPORTATION CHARGE – STC (USA)
STC is a surcharge based upon various overhead expense items,
some of which may not relate to the specific trip. The STC is
always calculated as a flat percentage of the base rate.
FUEL SURCHARGE (North America and some other countries)
For sedan, limousine and SUV services in the United States and
Canada, the Fuel Surcharge is calculated based on the Energy
Information Agency's (EIA's) published fuel pricing forecasts.
Quoted amount may differ from billed amount based on forecast in
effect when services are provided. Fuel surcharges for specialty
vehicles, including vans, minibuses and motor coaches, will
vary. |
